Jailed: Dangerous driver with drugs on him reached 'diabolical' speeds to get away from police

A dangerous driver caught with hard drugs after clocking up "diabolical" speeds of more than 120mph has been jailed.

Dajon Donaldson, aged 24, sped away from pursuing police when he was spotted on roads in Halesowen at the wheel of an silver Audi registered in a woman's name.

On Tuesday a judge heard that instead of pulling over, the defendant from Great Barr fled along roads including te A456 Manor Way where he travelled at between 95mph in 30mph and 40mph streets and 124mph along a 70mph carriageway.

Miss Laura Coton, prosecuting, played police footage of the chase at Wolverhampton Crown Court showing the car being driven at high speed going the wrong way at an island, then on the wrong side of the road and through roadworks on a dual carriageway.
