Motorists in court accused of causing death of pensioner on Black Country road

Two motorists have appeared in court after an elderly woman was struck and killed on a main road near Oldbury.

Arjun Dosanjh, 25, and Jacek Wiatrowski, 51, are accused of acting together causing the death of Surinder Kaur by driving dangerously in Oldbury Road, in Rowley Regis, on November 11 last year.

The 81-year-old had just got off a bus near the junction with Uplands Avenue and the A4034 Oldbury Road shortly before 1pm when she was allegedly struck by a Mini. She died at the scene.
