Wolverhampton man, 38, denies fees fraud allegations

A Wolverhampton man accused of wrongly charging customers third party fees has appeared in court on fraud allegations.

Manmohan Singh, 38, faced five offences of fraud and five offences of misleading action under section two of the Fraud Act 2006.

The offences relate to the defendant allegedly charging for council and water company fees in the period May 2018 to July 2018.

Singh, of Bee Lane, Fordhouses, pleaded not guilty to all the offences when he appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday.

The case was adjourned for a case management hearing on May 22. Singh was granted bail until then. The trial is due to be held in November.
