Motocross bikes being ridden dangerously

Motocross bikes have been ridden dangerously in Staffordshire in recent days, police said.

Reports have been made of people riding the bikes on roads in Burntwood and Chase terrace with no lights or number plates.

Police are now asking people to report any incidents.

PCSO Leon Worden said: "Police are aware of motocross bikes being used in the Burntwood and Chase Terrace areas on the road with no lights and no number plates riding in a dangerous manner mainly in the evening.

"Please report any incidents to police on 101 or 999 in an emergency and if there is any information where these bikes may normally be found, please call 101 or use the digital 101 service to make police aware."
