Hunt for suspect after Birchley Island garage attack

Police are searching for this man after a brutal attack a Black Country petrol station.

The 34-year-old man was violently punched and kicked in front of the Shell garage at Birchley Island, Oldbury, just after midnight on August 27.

He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged, West Midlands Police said.

And now an appeal featuring CCTV images has been launched by detectives in a bid to track down the culprit.

The force has also urged people who were at the Shell garage during the time of the attack to come forward.
