CCTV images show the faces of seven suspects that police want to speak to after a fight broke out on Longbank Road in Tividale just before 9pm on July 25.

Five people suffered minor injuries after being shot with an air rifle, while a sixth man suffered serious injuries after being slashed on the face with a machete, West Midlands Police say.

However, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman has said that they only treated four men for injuries after the incident.

He said: "We were called at 9.03pm by the police to reports of a fight in progress.

"We sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers and the merit trauma doctor.

"A man in his 30s had been assaulted, his injuries were serious but not life threatening.

"Two other men had minor injuries for a pellet gun and they were treated at the scene.

"A fourth man said he did not want our assistance and that he would make his own way to hospital."

Police are now appealing for information to track down the suspects.

A spokesman for the force said: "A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

"We understand some of the images are not great quality, but we believe someone will recognise them.

"If you have any information or recognise any of the men pictured, please do not hesitate to contact us via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference number 20SW/176914E/19."
