Officers raided a property on Church Road in Coseley at around 3pm yesterday.

They seized eight cannabis plants and a "large quantity" of dried cannabis.

No one was arrested, but a 51-year-old man is being interviewed by police.

Church Road is a residential street on the same road as Christ Church and Christ Church Primary School, which is less than half a mile from Coseley Railway Station.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Police conducted a planned drugs warrant at a property on Church Road in the Coseley area of Dudley just before 3pm yesterday and seized eight cannabis plants, a large quantity of dried cannabis and equipment.

"A 51-year-old man will be voluntarily interviewed and enquiries continue."
