Men arrested after Asda car park bat brawl

Two men have been arrested after a fight broke out in a supermarket car park.

Cars were damaged and "a number of people" armed with bats were involved when the brawl erupted at Asda's Queslett Superstore, on Old Horns Crescent in Great Barr, at around 8pm last night.

Police arrested two men, aged 37 and 40, following the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray after police were called to Asda in Great Barr at around 7.50pm yesterday, to reports of disorder in the car park.

"A number of people armed with bats were reported to be fighting and damaging cars.

"The suspects, aged 37 and 40, remained in police custody this morning."
