Lorry driver has truck stolen at knifepoint in West Bromwich

A lorry driver had his truck stolen at knifepoint by a group of four men in West Bromwich.

The driver was sat in his truck on William Street when the group, one armed with a knife, approached him and dragged him out the vehicle.

One man then jumped in the lorry and fled the scene while the other three got in a black BMW and also fled.

The truck was located nearby and recovered an hour later following the incident at 11.20pm on Sunday.

Police are now appealing for help to catch the suspects.
