The operation, known as Scramble, saw officers patrol the site on Saturday and Sunday as part of its commitment to cracking down on those riding on the private property.

A similar operation went ahead on June 15 and warnings were issued across the site.

Sergeant Kelly Wareing, from south Staffordshire neighbourhood policing team, said: “This is part of our on-going crackdown on off-road bikers in the area. Riders from across the country are visiting the site often and causing distress to local residents.

“We will continue to crackdown on those responsible over the summer months and anyone seen on the private property will have their bikes seized.”
