Teenager suffers broken ankle in Cannock nightclub assault

A teenager suffered a broken ankle after he was assaulted in a Cannock nightclub.

The 18-year-old man was attacked from behind at Fever, off Wolverhampton Road, at around 1am on Sunday, June 2.

He suffered a number of injuries including a broken ankle.

Staffordshire Police has launched an investigation into the assault and is asking for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman for the force said: "We are appealing for information in relation to a serious assault that took place at Fever on Wolverhampton Road in Cannock.

"The incident occurred at around 1am on Sunday, June 2, and it was reported that an 18-year-old man was attacked from behind. He suffered a number of injuries including a broken ankle.

"An investigation is on-going, and detectives are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch."
