The fly-tipped rubbish covers the whole road on Moseley Lane, making it difficult for visitors to access the nearby Moseley Old Hall.

But a tweet from the Wightwick Manor account said Moseley Old Hall can be accessed via other routes.

It said: "Our friends over at @MoseleyOldHall are open today, but there are some access issues due to a fly tipping incident on Moseley Lane.

"You can still access the property via Jcn 1 of the M54 then via A460."

Zoe Willems, visitor experience manager at Moseley Old Hall, said that someone had been and pushed the rubble to one side this afternoon.

She said: "It's coned off now so people can get through.

"It's builders rubble, it was done in the daylight as people came this morning and the road wasn't blocked.

"You couldn't drive through it, you then had to back down a single lane with people behind you doing the same.

"We put up a message on our social media warning people, but we still think it's affected our visitor numbers today, on Bank Holiday weekend which isn't good."
