Second teenager arrested over Walsall barber shop shooting

A second teenager has been arrested after a man was shot in the stomach in a Walsall barber shop.

Police have confirmed that a 17-year-old boy handed himself in at a police station yesterday.

He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, questioned by officers and then released on police bail.

This comes after a 19-year-old man was arrested at an address in Walsall on suspicion of attempted murder and then released on police bail under "strict conditions."

The attack happened at around 5pm on Sunday at Katz Kutz barber shop on Wolverhampton Road in Birchills.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the stomach by a shotgun and he remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
