Man charged with attempted robbery after incident in Stone
A man has been charged with attempted robbery after an incident in Stone.

Officers were called to Sycamore Road at 7.50am yesterday to reports of intruders at a property.
Karta Slack, 29, of Brookwood Drive, Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, was charged with attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, false imprisonment and obstruct/resist a constable in the execution of his/her duty.
Slack appeared before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre this morning and has been remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on June 17.
