Bike worth £2,000 stolen from shed in Shifnal

A bicycle worth nearly £2,000 has been stolen from a shed in Shifnal.

The Specialised Turbo FLR E bike was stolen sometime between 4pm on Sunday and 7.45am on Tuesday from an address on Drayton Road.

Thieves forced open the padlock which kept the bike secure inside a shed.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The bicycle was stored in a shed, the offenders forced open the padlock that kept it secure. The bicycle is worth almost £2,000.

"If you were in the area of Drayton Road, Shifnal, during the relevant time and saw anything that you believe may be linked to this crime, please call 101."
