The group of four got into the back garden of a home in Brookhouse Road and have forced their way in through a patio door.

They then carried out an "untidy search" of the downstairs living room and found several sets of keys to vehicles parked on the driveway, according to West Midlands Police.

Three vehicles, a blue BMW M Sport, a grey BMW 3 Series and a grey VW Polo, all less than a year old, have then been stolen by the thieves between 2am and 7.10am on Good Friday.

One of the BMWs stolen in the break-in was later found in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham.

Meanwhile, a resident of a block of flats in Laneside, Willenhall, was followed into the area on April 19, before the thief took the keys from the door and ran off.

And in Yarningale Road, Willenhall, a handle was broken off a door, but the offender failed to get into the property on April 14.
