Boy, 12, stabbed in head and leg in Great Barr

A 12-year-old boy was stabbed in the head and leg in Great Barr on Easter Saturday.

The boy had a small amount of cash stolen during the attack on Elm Drive at 3.10pm yesterday.

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Another 12-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
