Woman pushed to the floor in Rowley Regis car jacking

A woman was pushed to the floor in as thieves made off with her car in Rowley Regis.

The terrifying car jacking took place at around 9pm last night in Cambourne Road.

The thieves pushed the woman to the floor, before snatching the keys to her Audi A1 and driving away.

Relatives of the victim posted on social media to appeal for help in finding the car.

A social media post said: "Can someone keep an eye out for my sister's car. It’s just been robbed while she was getting out of it on our drive in Rowley Regis.

"Two men driving a white 16 plate Mercedes. Any info is greatly appreciated."

West Midlands Police is now investigating the car jacking and is asking anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police are investigating a car jacking on Cambourne Road, Rowley Regis, around 9pm last night.

"A woman was pushed to the floor and had the keys to her Audi A1 snatched. The man then made off with the vehicle."
