Police had cordoned off Skinner street in the early hours of Sunday after the violence, which is believed to have taken place at Fixxion Nightclub.

West Midlands Police had described the fight as 'large scale disorder'.

A man, aged in his 30s, suffered a stab wound to his torso during the incident, which happened at around 3am. His injuries are not believed to be serious but he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed on Monday that no arrests had been made in their investigation – as officers look to get hold of CCTV footage to assist their enquiries.

Over the weekend police officers shared footage on social media, showing Skinner Street closed off, with its junction with School Street, as the investigation was launched.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting 20WV/71163N19.
