Teenager smashed in the face with gun after being robbed in Dudley

A teenager was taken to hospital with face injuries after being robbed by a man holding a gun in Dudley.

The 16-year-old was on Clifton Street, Hurst Hill at about 6.30pm on Friday [Mar 15] when he was approached by a man who pointed the weapon at him and demanded his bag.

When he refused, the teenager was hit in the face three times with the gun.

He then handed over the bag to the robber, who then ran away.

The boy was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts to his face.

The robber was described as white, skinny, around six foot tall and wearing a black North Face puffer-style jacket.

He had a dark hood with a grey face-covering over his mouth and nose. He wore black tracksuit bottoms and black gloves.

Witnesses are being spoken to and CCTV is being checked.
