Two men jailed for supplying drugs across West Midlands
Two drug dealers have been jailed for supplying Class A drugs across the West Midlands after police swooped on them in the Black Country.
Ikram Mahmood, aged 23, and Aadil Nazir, 24, were arrested after a concerned member of the public alerted police about their suspicious behaviour.
The pair were arrested in Oldbury on August 18, 2017, where police found them with a ‘quantity of Class A drugs, a substantial amount of cash and several phones’, a spokesman said.
Both men were found guilty and sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday (25).
Mahmood, of Windmill Lane in Smethwick, was jailed for five and a half years - including a 12 week activation of a previous suspended sentence. He was also ordered to pay a fine under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a victim surcharge of £170.
Nazir was jailed for six years and eight months for his involvement in supplying crack cocaine and cocaine.
