The 4x4 ploughed into Lane Head Balti, on High Road, in Willenhall at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, with police believing the attack was deliberate.

No-one was injured in the crash but the front windows and glass door were badly damaged by the car.

Bricks were strewn across the shop floor as the brickwork underneath the shop windows was almost completely destroyed.

It's believed that despite the attack, the takeaway continued to take food orders over the phone.

Lane Head Balti have been contacted for comment.

A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: "Police are investigating after a Jeep is believed to have been deliberately driven into the front of Lane Head Balti, High Road , Willenhall, at around 6.20pm last night (Tuesday 8 January).

"Damage was caused to the building and the vehicle then drove off. No-one was injured.
