Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday heard that 'a third suspect' in the case was still being located, who is believed to have assisted Foran.

Foran, age 32, is charged with the murder of his former partner June Jones in West Bromwich and appeared in court for a preliminary hearing.

Thirty-three-year-old Miss Jones was found dead at her flat in Wyndmill Crescent at about 2am on New Years Eve. She shared the flat with Foran.

Keith O'Dwyer, of Beaconview Road in West Bromwich, also appeared in front of the judge, charged with helping Miss Jones's alleged killer by taking him to Liverpool.

Foran, who is an Irish national and of no fixed address, will next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on February 6, where he will enter a plea.

His expected trial date is May 28 this year.
