Man and woman arrested after police discover Class A drugs in car
A woman have been arrested after police discovered a knife, drugs and cash in a car in Lichfield.
Officers from Staffordshire Police stopped the car on the A3 at around 7.30pm on Monday.
After further searches in custody, officers found a three inch knife, £1,300 cash, phones and Class A drugs.
A 20-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and possession of an offensive weapon and a woman of the same age from West Bromwich was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
They remain in custody.
