The two women were walking in King George VI park, Kingswinford, just after midnight on November 11 when they became aware of a man they believed was following them.

He then exposed himself as they left the park near Mimosa Walk.

A 58-year-old of no fixed address has since been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and questioned by officers.

He’s been bailed while enquiries continue with a condition to report three times a week to a police station.

Temporary sergeant Marc Hughes from the Kingswinford & Pensnett Neighbourhood Police Team said: "We would like to take this opportunity to remind people to be vigilant, particularly when out and about walking or jogging during the darker evenings.

"Try to stick to well-lit areas and go out with a friend or group."
