Men appear in court charged with burglary offences after ram-raids

Three men have appeared in court charged with burglary offences after a series of ram-raids at businesses.

Three break-ins happened in less than an hour across Dudley and Birmingham at around midnight on Tuesday.

They happened just 21 hours after two ram-raids in the space of 15 minutes in south Birmingham.

A Co-op store in Sedgley Road, Woodsetton, Dudley, was among those targeted.

Shaun Sutherland, 28, of Eastwood Road in Balsall Heath, and mechanic Aziz Khan, 26, of Smithmoore Crescent in West Bromwich, were both charged with two counts of conspiring to commit burglary with intent to steal.

Nathaniel Brown, 29, of Longleat Avenue in Birmingham, was charged with one count of burglary.

All three appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court this morning, and were remanded in custody until they are due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on December 7.
