Arrests after two police officers injured by car in Stafford
Two police officers were injured when they were hit by a car in Stafford today.
A man and a woman were arrested after the officers were hurt in the Coton Fields area of the town at around 11am.
Two police constables were taken to Royal Stoke Hospital. One of them suffered leg injuries.
Staffordshire Police has not released details of the severity of their injuries.
A 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Stafford, were arrested.
