Tributes have been paid to a 'loving and caring' man who was found dead in a Black Country house.

Detectives launched a murder probe after Deniss Buzmakovs was found with serious injuries in Bilston on Sunday.

Officers have since arrested two men, who remain in custody on suspicion of the 42-year-old's murder.

In a statement, his family said: "Deniss was a wonderful son, brother, father and partner.

"He was known within the family as the talented one as he could turn his hand to anything.

"He was a loving and caring person and had a great sense of humour. He would always make us laugh.

“His life has been taken from us and he will be sorely missed.

"We as a family are grieving and would like to be left in peace to do this.”

Mr Buzmakovs was pronounced dead at the scene when emergency services arrived at Beckett Street, The Lunt, just after 6.30pm.

A post mortem is yet to take place following the incident, near Bilston Town Football Club’s Queen Street ground.

Police were granted extra time to quiz the suspects, aged 34 and 42, after they were arrested on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Paul Joyce, from the West Midlands Police homicide team, said: “We are working to establish the circumstances around the sad death of Deniss.

“I would urge anyone who knows anything about a possible disorder in the street earlier that afternoon to contact us.”
