Willenhall man arrested on suspicion of murder

A man from the Black Country has been arrested after a man was stabbed in broad daylight near horrified shoppers.

Police have made an arrest as part of their murder investigation

Robert Eacock, aged 33, was attacked in Hereford city centre at around 12pm on Monday.

He suffered a single stab wound and died later that day.

A 22-year-old man from Willenhall has been arrested on suspicion of murder today.

West Mercia Police said a 48-year-old man, from Hereford, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.
