Berry Systems looking to build on positive start at Traffex

One of the UK’s leading car park specialists is looking to build on a strong start to the year by showcasing its turnkey solutions to thousands of potential clients at Traffex 2019, which runs at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre from April 2 to 4.

Wolverhampton-based Berry Systems, which is exhibiting on Stand D040 as part of the HS Holdings pavilion, heads to the high-profile show fresh from completing high-profile projects at Manchester Airport and associated British Ports in Southampton.

This involved the company providing a mixture of its leading vehicle restraint systems and cladding services to ensure the aesthetic look of the buildings and, importantly, the safety of drivers using the facilities.

The first three months of 2019 have been an excellent period for the firm, with three new jobs created in the senior team and Berry products also supplied for fitting on the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, one of the most advanced in the world.

Steve Dunn, managing director, said: “Traffex is where the road traffic and transport industry comes together and a great vehicle for highlighting the new Berry brand and the range of services we can offer.

“Our approach has changed to focus on providing a turnkey solution for the customer, from design and supply to the construction and installation of car parking systems. Single-source you could say.”

He continued: “This means customers can tap into our extensive experience and expertise in vehicle restraint systems (VRS), cladding, facades, structural refurbishment, car park construction and street furniture.

“We’ll have a host of technical experts on the stand ready to talk through your requirements, whilst also promoting our increasingly popular TopDeck modular car parking solution.”

Berry Systems will be exhibiting the following products at Traffex: Berry Beam, car park beam profiles, column-mounted systems, floor-mounted systems, off highway safety barriers and wall-mounted systems.

Berry Systems has invested heavily in meeting the renewed demand from its national client base by taking on three new specialists.

This is on the back of a brand refresh and new promotional campaigns that will support strategic expansion plans around facades, VRS development, refurbishment of structures, primary and secondary steelwork, not to mention the management capability to cover civils, concrete repairs and deck coating to new and existing floor slabs.

The increase in services is part of a five-year growth plan aimed at positioning the business, located on Springvale Business and Industrial Park in Wolverhampton, as one of the first choices when considering car park build or re-development.
