Festival event at Merry Hill

A Retail Regeneration workshop is being hosted by intu Merry Hill as part of the Black Country Business Festival on April 25.

The workshop, which runs from 10.30am to 12 noon, will see Intu outlined its plans to create a major leisure complex at the Brierley Hill shopping centre over the coming years. The new development will see a series of new restaurants and entertainment facilities added to the centre as well as a new on-site cinema which will double the amount of leisure and food experiences.

Speakers include Dan Murphy, the regional centre director who will discuss the future leisure developments; Nick Round, regional managing firector who is spearheading the retailer negotiations and their upsizing and Robert Pickersgill, the marketing manager who is driving to make intu Merry Hill a key shopper destination bringing more visitors, jobs and income to the area.

The workshop is aimed at retailers, local business owners, local attractions and anyone interested in hearing about the future plans of intu Merry Hill

The works are part of Intu's £100 million commitment to improve the centre over the next few years.

Those attending will also be able to see exclusive artist impressions of the development plans.
