Transport firm behind Diamond Buses making expansion plans

Bus operator Rotala, which has its head office in Tividale, has said it plans to continue its expansion this year.

In an update the group, which includes Diamond Bus in the West Midlands and Worcestershire, said trading in the 12 months to the end of November had been in line with market expectations.

During the financial year, the group achieved significant additional growth through the acquisition of the Bolton depot of First Manchester in August.

Rotala is now the second largest bus operator in the Greater Manchester market.

Trading for the current financial year has begun in line with budget and the board remains focused on identifying suitable acquisitions with a view to continuing to expand operations.

Rotala expectst o publish its results for t2018-2019 in early April.
