Amazon recruiting managers at giant Rugeley distribution centre

Amazon today revealed it is recruiting for more than 130 managerial roles including at its warehouse in Rugeley.

The Midlands roles will be among the 2,000 new jobs the online retail giant is creating in the UK during 2019.

It will take its total permanent workforce to more than 29,500 across the country by the end of the year.

The regional jobs are available in areas such as finance, IT, safety and engineering at sites including its giant fulfilment centre at Rugeley.

Graduate jobs

The roles will also be based at its centres in Coalville, Coventry and Daventry, with a new warehouse in Rugby due to open this summer.

Amazon also has a number of positions for graduates in technical, non-technical and operations roles.

It has teamed up with a number of universities to support graduates into these roles and also welcomes applications.

Amazon is inviting applications and is also asking those interested in Amazon operations to come and visit one of its fulfiulment centres on a public tour. They can registered at the Amazon website.

The US-based business is also beginning recruitment for its new team in Rugby who will pick, pack and ship customer orders.
