CS Labels expands team and products

CS Labels has appointed a new member of its senior sales team as it is set to launch a new range of digital security labelling.

Richard Wilson has joined the Wednesfield-based digital print leader for self-adhesive labels, stand-up pouches and continuous film after its recent £3 million investment that has included the move to 20,000 sq ft new premises at Steel Park Trading Estate.

Mr Wilson has worked in the print and marketing services industries since 2005 and has held positions in organisations of various sizes including one of the UK’s largest print companies from 2005 to 2012. He has strong sales and account management experience across various product areas such as labelling, litho, screen, large and small format digital print, field marketing, direct marketing, variable data and security labelling.

He has managed customers in the security, food and beverage, retail, chemical and local authority sectors to name a few.

Mr Wilson will be managing a portfolio of CS labels existing clients as well as generating new relationships as the demand for digital labels and packaging grows. He will be active in various sectors as well as offering particular expertise in the security labelling market.

CS Labels will be officially launching a brand new range of high-performing digital security label products that are set to rival the existing digital offerings.

Managing director Simon Smith said: “Due to ever growing demand for digital print we are continuing to expand in all areas; the appointment of Richard as Sales Co-ordinator is another step in that direction. I’m very pleased to have him on board and look forward to his contribution to our upcoming official security labels launch.”

Technical sales director, Andrew Mansfield said: “We welcome Richard to the team. Amongst other qualities he also brings added specialist expertise in security labelling to the table which is already valued, and is another string to the bow of our knowledgeable and energetic sales team. “

Family-owned CS Labels is the largest digital label printer in Europe using Xeikon technology. It now employs 54 people.
