Driver who died after building crash named

An 80-year-old driver who died after his car collided with a building has been named.

Paul Roger Wilson was behind the wheel when the car he was driving crashed in Stafford's Chell Road.

The car left the road and collided with a building at about 9.45am on July 21.

Officers have since spoken to the Stafford man's family and a file has been passed on to the region's coroner.

The force said: "Paul Roger Wilson, aged 80 from Stafford, died after the car he was driving left the road and collided with a building at around 9.45am on Sunday, July 21.

"His family has been informed and the matter is being overseen by HM Coroner."
