Sun-seekers told to make most of today's high temperatures with clouds and rain forecast for tomorrow

Sun-seekers across the region are being warned to make the most of today's high temperatures as the weather is set to cool off tomorrow and into next week.

The Met Office is forecasting highs of 21C (70F) today across both the West Midlands and Shropshire, with 3pm, 4pm and 5pm set to be the hottest times.

However the temperatures will drop overnight and into tomorrow, with Sunday seeing highs of 14C (57F) and a chance of rain.

The Met Office warns it will be cloudy throughout the day along with Monday and Tuesday, when the temperature is set to drop slightly again to 13C (55F).

The sun could reappear on Wednesday and Thursday but there's a chance this will be coupled with rain and lower temperatures of 11C (52F).
