On your marks! Last-minute shopping dash in Wolverhampton - with video

The last-minute shopping dash was on today as crowds of people headed to the shops to pick up their last stocking fillers, food and drink for Christmas Day.

Hundreds of shoppers headed for the Mander Centre and other centres around the region as one of the busiest shopping times of the year was in full swing.

Some customers even dressed as Santa and Rudolph for a festive-themed obstacle race in the Mander Centre to win a share of £200 worth of vouchers.

Radio presenter Dicky Dodd hosted the game called ‘Run Run Rudolph’ with a little help from Black Country fundraiser, schoolboy Louis Johnson, aged 12.
