The former The Ticket Unsigned page stars will top a night of local music at Newhampton Arts Centre on Dunkley Street - with a treat from further afield thrown in for good measure.

METHODS will headline the four-band bill on August 18 that includes fellow Wolves outfit The Jack Fletcher Band, Birmingham group The Lizards, and Mutant-Thoughts from Bristol who METHODS have befriended playing the live circuit.

On top of that, The Twang frontman Phil Etheridge will appear on the night as a special guest DJ to keep the party going.

"It's our own night, we're doing everything ourselves," said METHODS frontman Ash Bradley. "We'll put a bit of a good night on. We also want to bring local music fans something different so we're going to bring along someone from out of town, too."

The band added in a Facebook post: "This is set to be an historic 'where were you when?' moment."

Tickets for the Newhampton show are on sale via the venue's website, priced at £5 plus a booking fee.
