The Walsall paralympian was pictured alongside a host of big names during an appearance on Sky's A League of Their Own.

They included Gavin and Stacey star James Corden, ex-England cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff and football legends Jamie Redknapp and Ashley Cole.

And Ellie clearly enjoyed herself as she said afterwards that she 'couldn't stop laughing'. The popular panel show sees celebrities tested on their sporting knowledge as well as getting involved in physical challenges.

That certainly looks to have been the case in the latest episode, with Redknapp pictured wearing a crash helmet and Flintoff and comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett kitted out in dark vest tops.

Fans will have to wait until the show is aired on Sky 1 to see how Ellie got on.

She said on Twitter: "What a brilliant day yesterday filming @ALOTO with this awesome lot. I didn’t stop laughing. Thank you @JKCorden @flintoff11 @robbeckettcomic @TheRealAC3 @RomeshRanga & JamieRedknapp."

The 23-year-old is gearing towards her fourth Paralympic Games at Tokyo in 2020.

The five-time Paralympic champion from Aldridge took a break from swimming after Rio 2016 after saying she 'hated' it but has fallen in love with the sport all over again.

She enjoyed a sensational return to the pool in April by winning three gold and two bronze medals at the World Para Swimming World Series.
