The star won the figure after competing in the Catchphrase celebrity special last weekend, with the money going to Brain Tumour Support.

The charity runs support groups in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Walsall.

Mr Dommett said: "Turns out – I’m good at Catchphrase! I was so happy to win it for such a wonderful charity that is close to my, and my family’s, heart. The charity’s support groups and specialist counselling are a lifeline to so many patients and families and I know these funds will make a big difference to these peoples’ lives. I’m really proud to be able to support the charity.”

The support groups take place in Birmingham in John Lewis on the third Thursday of the month, at Aldridge Social Club on the last Thursday, and in Wolverhampton at the Lighthouse Cinema's coffee shop on the second Thursday each month.

Tina Mitchell Skinner, founder and CEO of Brain Tumour Support, said: "We were over the moon when we heard that Joel had chosen Brain Tumour Support. He has such a big heart and always wants to make a difference.

"Winning this amount of money for us will allow us to do so much."
