The Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society will perform Holiday Snap by Michael Pertwee and John Chapman.

The performance follows a comic tale of mistaken identity at a Portuguese time share villa which has been doubled booked.

Paul Homer and Liz Dickinson are set to direct the piece, which will be performed at Crestwood School and Sixth Form in Kingswinford.

Martin Pardoe, a member of the society, said: "It's taken about three months to get it all done. It's coming on quite well and we've got two dress rehearsals and then we start the show.

"we always put on a good performance and it's a fast-paced farce, basically.

"I'm looking forward to the show and seeing all the different people coming here.

"There's a total of nine people in the production."

The performers include Norma Whittaker, Dink Widdowson, Dave Southall, Sue Lee, Ashley Walpole, Jim Fisher, Liz Green, Pete Goldsmith and Jane Fleetwood.

The show will mark the society's first production this year, which runs between Wednesday (Feb 6) and Saturday (Feb 9).

The society, which was formed in 1924, hosts a variety of plays in Kingswinford and performs three plays annually.

Doors open at 7pm, with the curtain rising at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £8, with £7 for concessions, are available from the box office.
