The trust will select the best 12 wildlife and landscape photographs that are submitted to make up their calendar for 2019 which will go on sale across the county later this year and winners will get a free copy.

Photographs can be anything from wildlife in back gardens to the countryside around the county but they must reflect a variety of seasons to be suitable for each month.

This year's calendar is made up of photographs of birds, deer, ladybugs, dragonflies and landscape shots.

Each photograph has to be landscape and the last day to enter a submission is April 27.

Jon Owen, press and social media officer at Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, set up the competition and the proceeds of the calendar will go towards supporting the trust.

Throughout the year, they protect and enhance wildlife and wild places across Staffordshire.

Each photographer can send multiple photographs but no more than six.

To enter, a form and email address can be found at www.staffs-wildlife.org.uk/photographycomp
