Wesley Methodist Church will host the festival for the fourth year in a row

Wesley Methodist Church in West Bromwich will be holding the festival at the church on High Street, marking the fourth year it has taken place.

It will see trees covered with imaginative and creative decorations by a large range of community groups, including schools, youth organisations, clubs and societies.

It will also have the Memory tree as the centrepiece of the display where visitors can commemorate weddings, christenings or loved ones who have passed on by writing on a decoration to hang on the tree.

In 2018, the festival raised over £1,000 for church funds and £130 for the Voices of Hope choir from the Memory tree and organisers hope to match this, with all funds raised from the Memory tree going to Acorns Hospice Black Country.

Other attractions on the day will include a variety of stalls, home-made refreshments and a best dressed Christmas tree competition.

The festival starts at 11am on Saturday, December 14 at Wesley Methodist Church, 291 High St, West Bromwich

Entry to the festival is free, with opportunities to donate to church funds throughout the day.
