Russell Watson to perform in Stafford

Four-time British Classical Award winner, Russell Watson will be performing at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre tomorrow.

A Very Special Evening with Russell Watson will see the world-renowned tenor performing a selection of songs from his illustrious career accompanied by his pianist and guest choir, Musical Village.

His debut album The Voice was number one in both UK and US and it spent a record breaking 52 weeks at number one in the UK. He has sold seven million albums worldwide.

He was the first artist to perform at the Kodak Theatre, which is the home of the Oscars in Los Angeles, and was the only British artist to be invited to perform at the Independence Day celebrations at the White House in 2012.

In 2002, Russell performed at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, which was televised to more than one billion people worldwide.

He has performed across the globe and in-front of the likes of Her Majesty The Queen, Pope John Paul II, former US Presidents Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barack Obama, The Emperor of Japan and the King of Malaysia.

Russell Watson comes to Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Wednesday.
