Forest Live 2019: Jess Glynne announces Cannock Chase show

Jess Glynne has announced dates as part of Forest Live 2019 - including a show at Cannock Chase.

The 29-year-old pop sensation will join The Jam's Paul Weller for the summer concert series promoted by the Forestry Commission.

Commenting on the shows, Jess said: “I do hope you can join me in the Summer as part of Forest Live.

"I am really looking forward to performing in these unique woodland locations around the country”.

The London singer/songwriter is best known for hit singles such as Hold My Hand, Take Me Home, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself and I'll Be There.

The pop star released her debut solo album, I Cry When I Laugh, in 2015 which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

This Year, Jess became the first British female solo artist to have seven number-one singles in the UK.

Forest Live is a major outdoor live music series held every summer by Forestry Commission England in seven different forests.

More than 1.75 million people have attended a forest gig in the last 18 years. Money raised from ticket sales helps to look after the nation’s forests sustainably, for people to enjoy and wildlife to thrive.

Last year the Cannock Chase event saw shows from the likes of Paloma Faith, George Ezra and Paulk Heaton and Jacqui Abbott.

Jess Glynne will play Cannock Chase as part of Forest Live on July 5.
