The performance by the Bold 'z Brass band takes place at St Jude's Church, in Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, on November 10.

Mavis Littleford, who was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to charitable causes in 2013, has organised the concert.

The show takes place from 7pm. Tickets are £6 on the night and £5 in advance.

For tickets email johnandmavis.littleford@btinternet.com or call 01902 758056.

Mrs Littleford wants to raise funds to provide a water supply to leprosy affected families in Danja village, in Niger.

The retired HM revenue and customs officer, from Tettenhall, volunteered with The Leprosy Mission England and Wales, visiting Nepal for two weeks in 2016.

She visited as part of a group of nine volunteers, aiming to raise awareness of leprosy and bring in money to tackle the disease.

During her trip Mrs Littleford stayed at the Training Centre at Anandaban Leprosy Hospital, in Lalitpur, south of Kathmandu, where she met patients and staff.

Bold 'z Brass will be performing for free so that proceeds go to the project in Niger.

They are a group of experienced musicians who come from across the West Midlands to play and to raise money for charities and good causes.
