The Brit Award-winning band, famous for hit songs I Predict a Riot and Ruby, are currently working on their seventh studio album.

The Leeds rockers formed in 2000 under the name Parva, and went on to release one studio album, 22, in 2003.

Parva changed their name in the same year, and released their debut album Employment in 2004.

In 2017, the band played a sold-out show at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena (now Arena Birmingham), Staffordshire's Uttoxeter Racecourse, as well as an intimate gig at the second city's Asylum Venue.

Earlier this month the band performed at Wolverhampton Racecourse, following a show from Birmingham rockers Ocean Colour Scene at the attraction the day before.

Kaiser Chiefs will play Birmingham's O2 Academy on February 2.

Tickets go on sale from 9am this Friday.
