March 29 to 30 - Black Country Living Museum, Dudley

Celebrate a 'Mother's Ruin' evening with the experts from Warner Edwards Distillery, as they guide you through their pioneering adventure of flavoured gin at the Black Country Living Museum.

For this exclusive evening event, climb aboard the traditional bus for a journey through the museum, stopping at the Workers Institute.

Settle in with your welcome gin and tonic before learning about and sampling five different Warner Edwards gins and the distillery’s history.

March 30 - Penkridge Market

Penkridge Market will be holding their weekly market on March 30, and to help you with your preparations for Mother’s Day, there will be a free craft area, with children’s activities such as making cards.

There will be around 100 stalls selling everything from clothes, handbags and jewellery to candles, perfume and plants, making it the perfect place to buy all of your gifts for your mum.

If you’re planning on cooking a special Mother’s Day lunch, then you’ll be able to pick up all of your ingredients for a Sunday roast, with butchers selling meat, poultry and pies, as well as traditional fruit and veg stalls bursting with fresh produce. There will also be a wide range of stalls selling delicious treats such as homemade cakes, pies and preserves.
