He was joined at “A Night At The Darts” by former World Champion Mark Webster, of Wales, Scotland’s multiple major winner Robert Thornton and Tipton-based professional Jamie Hughes.

All three took on former world number one Phil Taylor in the quest to be crowned champion on the night.

Phil Taylor’s phenomenal success is one of the key reasons for its growth and ‘The Power’ said he was excited to be bringing the unparalleled atmosphere of a darts night to Dudley.

Jamie Hughes from Tipton

Recently retired from competing in PDC tournaments, the 59-year-old, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, said the Black Country night was “fantastic”. He also took the time out to meet and greet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
