Anju’s Restaurant at the Ramada Resort Park Hall Hotel in Wolverhampton has set itself the difficult task of defining the ultimate West Midlands Indian meal and is asking local residents to get involved.

The establishment is rewarding diners with 20 per cent off their next meal, as well as the chance to win an overnight stay and meal for two for those who take part.

Rajesh Kumar, head chef at Anju’s, said: “Curry is consistently voted as one of the nation’s favourite foods, but as anyone who has visited an Indian restaurant knows, it’s not just about the main event.

"Through this new poll we want to determine the most popular combinations, including starter, main, side and accompanying drink.

“The West Midlands has always been the spiritual home of British Indian food here in the UK and we’re continually looking at ways to bring together new flavour combinations and introduce new cuisines.

"In our latest menu we’ll be combining the traditional flavours of the Punjab with latest culinary trends from the streets of Mumbai to give a unique take on the West Midlands’ favourite dishes.”
